Medical Office Assistant

Position Type: Full-time, Permanent.

Location: WellFort Community Health Services, Four Corners Health Centre, 7205 Goreway Dr, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.

Application Deadline: 07/31/2026.

Responsibilities

- Serve as an integral interdisciplinary team member, providing administrative and logistical support to multiple teams.
- Ensure effective service delivery of all program components.
- Support accessible program service delivery with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Provide care delivery at any office site as program needs dictate.
- Maintain consistent access to a vehicle for responsive care delivery at any care delivery location.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

- Relevant knowledge and experience from graduation with a recognized college/university in Medical Office Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar position,



preferably in the community health or social services sector.
- Proficient in computer use and various software applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and electronic health records.
- Previous experience working with interdisciplinary teams.
- Sensitivity to and awareness of culturally, racially, economically, and socially diverse communities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Ability to speak languages relevant to residents of the organization’s community is an asset.
- Previous experience in community health/social services and/or a value-based organization is an asset.
