Experteer Overview

In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable Data & AI architectures and data solutions to ensure timely, accurate data across the organization. You will work at the intersection of Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, and AI Enablement, delivering production‑grade solutions in collaboration with Data Scientists and business stakeholders. You’ll shape the Data & AI Platform, drive governance, observability, and cloud efficiency while advancing AI and Generative AI use cases. This is an opportunity to lead architectural decisions and accelerate data‑driven impact across Generali Real Estate.

- Design and evolve core components of the Data & AI Platform with architectural leadership for scalable, reliable foundations
- Build and monitor robust data pipelines with data quality, observability, and governance by design
- Advance the platform roadmap, assess new technologies, and define long‑term Data & AI architecture strategy
- Industrialize predictive and Generative AI solutions with Data Scientists into secure, scalable production assets
- Create standards, frameworks, and reusable components to accelerate cross‑team delivery
- Champion data governance including metadata, cataloging, lineage, taxonomy, and governance processes
- Develop and improve Data & AI observability, monitoring,



and data quality practices
- Optimize platform performance, scalability, and cloud consumption using FinOps and best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data‑driven and AI‑enabled solutions
- Enable organization‑wide adoption of Data & AI capabilities through self‑service tools and accelerators

Responsabilità

- 5+ years in Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering or similar roles
- Strong programming in Python and SQL
- Experience designing and operating data pipelines, ETL/ELT frameworks, and enterprise data platforms
- Knowledge of data analysis, modeling, lakehouse and data warehousing architectures
- IaC and DevOps experience (Terraform, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines)
- Hands‑on cloud experience (storage, compute, networking, identity), AWS preferred
- Ability to define architecture standards and reusable frameworks
- Experience deploying Data & AI solutions in production
- Excellent problem‑solving and stakeholder management
- Fluent in Italian and English
