Network Technician (Freelance | Onsite IT Support)

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Network Technicians to deliver onsite IT and network support services for a leading international retail client across various customer locations.

This is a freelance, on-demand opportunity , with assignments scheduled based on your geographic location and availability.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver onsite IT and network support at customer sites.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity and infrastructure issues.
- Install, configure, and replace routers, switches, wireless access points, and other networking equipment.
- Perform hardware upgrades, break/fix activities, and equipment replacements.
- Complete service documentation and update support tickets following each onsite visit.
- Work closely with remote technical teams to ensure timely issue resolution.

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of experience in onsite IT support, field services, or network support.
- Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, Wi-Fi,



and VPN technologies.
- Hands‑on experience with networking equipment from Cisco, HP, Aruba, Fortinet , or similar vendors.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer locations.
- Good command of English (mandatory) .

Preferred Qualifications

- CCNA , CompTIA Network+ , or an equivalent networking certification.
- Previous experience supporting retail stores or multi‑site retail environments.
