Specialista Senior / Project Manager
In this role you ensure safety, technical, production, legal, and environmental compliance across new products, guiding design review and qualification processes. You drive product quality through thorough documentation and cross-functional collaboration, aiming for 100% conformance to specifications at serial production start. You work on CE declarations, DFMEA inputs, and project quality reports, helping the team improve overall product quality. This position blends hands-on engineering with compliance leadership to support Atlas Copco’s quality and safety standards.
- Review design submissions for accuracy, quality, and standards adherence
- Ensure designs meet regulatory and compliance requirements and provide input for Product Compliance & Legislation
- Conduct safety reviews and guide project quality and completeness
- Lead design review meetings with local design teams
- Maintain CE declarations and documentation accuracy
- Build and present reports on project quality and completeness
- Support engineering teams in quality improvements via meetings and reporting
- Safeguard local quality processes (PLM, release, root cause analysis, competence management)
- Align local processes with divisional standards
- Maintain independence from project pressure to protect quality
- Proven project management experience (min 5 years)
- Proven engineering experience (min 5 years)
- University Degree - Mechanical engineering or similar
- Fluency in Italian and English
- CAD design experience (2D and 3D)
- Knowledge of Compliance & Legislation requirements
- Knowledge about diesel engines, electric motors, sensors, and machine controls is a plus
- Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP
