Hardware Engineer - HW design

Trieste, Italy.

Mission

Design and validation of embedded systems with GSM/WCDMA/LTE capabilities.

Responsibilities

- HW features implementation
- HW test of features implemented
- Electronic component selection for GSM/WCDMA/LTE modules
- Technical Documentation
- PCB schematic and layout

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree (or higher) Electronical Engineering
- Knowledge of GSM/WCDMA/HSPA/LTE RF system requirements and architecture concepts
- Knowledge of circuit blocks such as mixers, LNAs, amplifiers, PLLs, ADC/DACs, filters
- Antenna theory and practice
- HW test equipment: Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Vector Analyzers and Power meters
- HW system performance testing
- HW system measurements and performance optimization
- Knowledge of RF, digital hi speed, analog low noise circuit design and layout requirements
- Knowledge on transmission line theory, RF transmitter and receiver components and EMC/EMI is valued
