In this role you will drive design engineering for high voltage switchgear, delivering cost-effective solutions that meet contract specs, quality standards and safety requirements. You will work within the High Voltage business unit to support design reviews, testing, installation and commissioning, and prepare deliverables within scope. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain and contract managers to ensure on‑time, within-budget delivery aligned to customer needs. You will shape technical solutions with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and risk mitigation, leveraging CAD tools and engineering processes to turn concepts into verified designs. - Develop design solutions with drawings and calculations per specifications
- Contribute to design reviews and verification; modify designs as needed
- Provide technical support for testing, installation and commissioning
- Prepare project deliverables and BOMs; assist in engineering project proposals




- Support Contract Managers with claims impact analysis (scope, cost, time, risk)
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and contractual requirements
- Create work plans and coordinate with other functions to ensure timely, within-budget deliverables
- Interact with customers, contractors and internal staff to support assignments
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to communicate and evaluate supplier proposals and ensure fit‑for‑purpose equipment/services
- Apply standard processes and tools and identify inefficiencies for improvement
- Bachelor degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Technical Diploma
- >3 years of experience in a similar role
- Fluency in English and Italian
- Good knowledge of CREO (or similar design tools)
