Cybersecurity Manager

RINA is currently recruiting for a Cybersecurity Manager to join its office in Genoa or Rome (Italy) within the Operating Engine Division.
Mission
In this role, you will contribute to the design, implementation and evolution of IT security technologies, architectures and policies for RINA's internal digital environment. You will ensure that all security measures comply with internal guidelines and external regulatory requirements, while also supporting M&A; activities when requested. You will support security audits, will manage the incident management and risk management processes. We are looking for a proactive and strategic professional with a strong understanding of IT security technologies, risk management principles and practices, capable of contributing to maintaining a robust company information security posture compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
Key Accountabilities
- IT Strategy and Framework:
- Participate in the design and implementation phases of the IT strategy and operating framework.
- Advanced Security Solutions Support:
- Provide advanced support in designing security solutions and architectures.
- Policy and Architecture Evolution:
- Assist in evolving the IT security architecture and related policies.
- Ensure the management and monitoring of IT security requirements.
- Governance and Standards:
- Support governance efforts to set and enforce standards for IT security.
- Legal and Regulatory Compliance:
- Support in translating legal and regulatory requirements into information security requirements.
- Support the DPO in GDPR compliance activities.
- Data Security Implementation:
- Implement technical and procedural measures to ensure data security.
- Audit Coordination:
- Support internal and external auditing activities for compliance.
- Vulnerability Management:
- Manage periodic Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing.
- Define and oversee remediation activities.
- Incident Management:
- Manage and report IT security incidents.
- Collaborate with the DPO for personal data breaches.
- Risk Management:
- Adopt and support a structured risk management process for projects and IT activities.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Master’s Degree in Cyber Security
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in IT security support or a similar role.
- Experience in supporting the design and implementation of security architectures and policies.
- Good knowledge of IT security technologies, tools, and best practices.
- Familiarity with vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and incident management.
- Familiarity with Risk Assessment Processes
- Understanding of GDPR, ISO27001, NIS2 and other relevant data protection regulations.
- Ability to support translating regulatory requirements into security policies and procedures.
- Soft Leadership skills, with the ability to independently manage projects and stakeholder relationships adeptly.
- Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory.

Compensation Data
The salary range and job grade for this position are defined based on objective, role-related criteria, and responsibilities in accordance with CCNL RINA (CNEL code I480). The gross annual salary range foreseen is between €55,000 and €65,000 and will be finally defined on candidate’s professional experience, qualifications, competencies, and overall alignment with the role. In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements. The overall compensation package is complemented by the Company's welfare.
