In this role you will support project and commissioning activities across various project sizes, ensuring work complies with contracts, safety standards and quality requirements. You will provide technical support, prepare deliverables, and assist contract managers with scope and risk changes. You’ll work with customers, suppliers and cross-functional teams to implement safe, cost-effective commissioning solutions. This position offers hands‑on impact in advancing ABB’s energy and automation goals in real-world projects.

- Evaluate and apply standard engineering techniques to assignments
- Provide technical support for testing, installation and commissioning
- Prepare project deliverables within scope
- Support Contract Managers with claims and scope changes
- Deliver quality solutions within budget and contractual constraints
- Ensure safety compliance and mitigate risks
- Conduct risk and opportunity assessments during commissioning
- Identify hazards and report to site management
- Assist customers and communicate with stakeholders




- Collaborate with Supply Chain to align on equipment/service requirements
- Use standard processes to ensure safety and contractual compliance
- Report inefficiencies and suggest improvements
- Improve work plan effectiveness with other functions
- Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, Energy, Computer Science) with basic automation software configuration experience
- or High school technical diploma (Electronics, telecommunication) with initial experience
- Knowledge of IT, Windows OS and Office programs (word, Excel)
- Knowledge of process automation: sensors, control elements, P&ID;, signal list, functional control diagrams
- Knowledge of Human-Machine Interfaces and control system graphics
- Electrical knowledge: reading and modifying control cabinet schemes
- Ability to work in a team
- Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and abroad
