At Stellantis, Data Protection and Governance are a strategic priority embedded at the highest level of the company. As one of the world's leading automotive groups managing connected vehicle data at scale, Stellantis has made a deliberate commitment to ensure every data usage is compliant, controlled, and aligned with regulatory obligations. The Data Governance & Data Management team is the function that makes this commitment operational.
We are looking for a Data Governance Specialist to join the team and turn governance frameworks into day-to-day reality.
You will be the hands-on implementer of data governance across our connected vehicle data scope. Where the team defines the rules, you make them work — embedding governance into tools, workflows, and team behaviors. You will collaborate daily with data producers, data consumers, Legal, Privacy, and IT teams to ensure our governance standards are not just written, but actually lived.
Implement Data Governance policies and standards across our AIDA data ecosystem — from use case declaration to stewardship activation.
Own key initiatives: Data Dictionary (GDPR & Data Act compliant), Data Sharing Playbook, and Stewardship Model deployment.
Maintain and grow our data catalogue (Collibra or equivalent) — glossary, ownership assignments, metadata quality.
Onboard and advise data teams on governance practices — classification, compliance rules, access policies.
Monitor and report on governance KPIs — stewardship coverage, compliance rates, use case registration.
Collaborate with Legal, Privacy/DPO, and IT/Architecture to translate regulatory requirements into practical rules.
5 to 7 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or equivalent.
~ Proven track record implementing governance frameworks in a complex, large-scale organization.
~ Hands-on experience with data catalogue tools — Collibra, Alation, or similar.
~ Good working knowledge of GDPR and Data Act compliance requirements.
~ Familiarity with Databricks or cloud data platforms is a plus.
