Experteer Overview

In this role you will develop and execute the strategy for Liability and Environmental Impairment Liability risks in the Italian market, closely aligned with the Group and Allianz Mid Corporate targets. You will serve as the contact point for agents and brokers, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive profitable underwriting and growth. You will steer portfolio performance, support new product development, and ensure adherence to authority and governance frameworks. This is a hands‑on, international role with meaningful impact on risk, pricing and cross‑selling strategies.

Retribuzione / Benefits

- Ensure underwriters comply with underwriting authority, pricing and rating guidelines
- Steer and control the local portfolio with the Head of Liability to meet financial targets
- Liaise with functional areas to review end-to-end underwriting lifecycle performance
- Collaborate with Sales, Risk Consulting, Claims and other product lines to support marketing and cross‑selling
- Maintain underwriting consistency, discipline, and adherence to corporate governance and local regulations




- Support development and implementation of new or modified products
- Support acquisition and retention of business, including agent/broker negotiations
- Communicate local business strategy externally

Responsabilità
- Master's degree in Law or Economics
- 3 to 5 years' proven experience in underwriting profitable Liability for corporate clients
- Preference for experience in PI / D&O; / Cyber / Legal Expenses and Multinational Clients/Programs xysqume
- Proven leadership skills
- Expertise in risk assessment and policy administration lifecycle
- Strong pricing knowledge and market analysis skills
- Ideally experience in designing wordings and driving underwriting projects
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in an international organization
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Data analytics
- Very good knowledge of Office 365 and other collaborative tools
