Location: Milan. Reports to Public Affairs & Innovation Manager within ROCKWOOL Core Solutions (RW‑CS). European scope with key stakeholders across different countries.
Responsibilities
- Work with internal and external stakeholders: Operating company Marketing & Development team, RW‑CS departments of Supply Chain and sales teams, Group Development, local OPCO resources, Laboratories, notified bodies, suppliers, professional associations, and customers.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver cutting‑edge solutions for OEM partners and clients across Europe.
- Support innovation pipeline by identifying and developing new systems and solutions that leverage the unique performance benefits of stone wool.
- Manage innovative projects encompassing products, systems, and services; create steps, milestones, and “Go/No‑Go” gates for new development and product optimization.
- Add technical propositions to strengthen strategic pillars; develop connections with laboratories, suppliers, and factories to test processes and products.
- Produce and make available technical documentation to reduce “Route to Market.”
- Identify actionable levers that can increase technical performances.
- Support Product Manager to adjust portfolio according to new systems and technical improvements.
- Benchmark existing solutions/systems based on market and literature.
- Translate solution performance expectations into stone wool specifications to fit with the system.
- Interface with machine/industrial process suppliers for integration of stone wool into final systems.
- Be responsible for deliverables and timeline of projects agreed with the Public Affairs & Innovation Manager.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a project management role within construction or industry.
- Experience with project management process and documentation.
- Building physics knowledge.
- English language fluently in speech and writing.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Strong leadership with proactive mindset, ability to engage others, build internal and external network.
- Digital working knowledge: Microsoft Office, social networks.
- Planning, organising, learning ability, oral communication, tenacity, initiative, result orientation.
Desired Skills and Experience (plus)
- Knowledge of sustainability and environmental issues and European energy regulation and transition regulations.
- Knowledge of foreign languages (German, Italian, Spanish, Polish, French).
- International experience.
- Basic understanding of business financials and strategic thinking.
- Entrepreneurship and negotiation skills.
Offer
- Full‑time permanent employment contract.
- Yearly gross salary of €45,000‑€50,000.
