Experteer Overview

As a Cyber Security Engineer at LuxExperience, you will own the Akamai Security Platform to safeguard our digital luxury ecosystem. You’ll design, tune, and operate edge security configurations across web apps and APIs, working closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure high availability and resilience. You’ll drive secure‑by‑design edge strategies, automate configurations, and manage platform lifecycle to protect customers and internal users. This role offers hands‑on impact in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment with a clear security‑focused mission.

Retribuzione / Benefits

- Design, provision, configure, and maintain Akamai security configurations (App & API Protector, Akamai WAF, Bot Manager, Content Protector)
- Tune WAF rules and rate limiting to balance security with usability and minimize false positives
- Identify and mitigate real‑time DDoS and bot traffic without disrupting legitimate users or crawlers
- Implement and manage API security controls,



including schema validation and discovery of unmanaged endpoints
- Collaborate with application developers and product teams to translate requirements into secure edge configurations and troubleshoot application‑layer issues
- Produce technical documentation for edge configurations, incident playbooks, and procedures; explore automation with Akamai CLI, Terraform, or APIs
- Manage the lifecycle of security services, monitor platform health, review Akamai release updates, and xysqume apply best practices

Responsabilità
- Akamai platform expertise (App & API Protector, Bot Manager, Client‑Side Protection, Edge DNS)
- Web & API security knowledge (OWASP Top 10, API Security Top 10)
- Traffic analysis using HTTP/S logs, Akamai Control Center, or SIEM dashboards
- Strong knowledge of core Internet protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS) and enterprise DNS
- TLS/SSL certificate lifecycle management at the edge
