Business Development Manager, Italy

In this role you will drive Italy-wide growth for CHEP’s Pallecon reusable container solutions, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to onboarding. You will work with cross-functional teams to tailor solutions that meet customer needs, while building a robust pipeline and high-value partnerships. This position offers exposure to a European commercial team and a clear path to ownership of the Italian market within a sustainable, circular economy business. You will be measured by revenue growth, profitability, and strategic account development.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory growth strategy for Italy
- Prospect and win new customers across targeted sectors
- Lead complex commercial negotiations and RFQ/RFI processes
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle




- Collaborate with operations, customer service, sales and product teams
- Drive profitable revenue growth and pipeline development
- Mentor and guide junior business development managers
- Prepare and present business development reports and strategic updates to senior leadership

Qualifications & Skills
- Fluent Italian and business-level English
- Proven xysqume success in B2B business development
- Strong hunting mentality and commercial drive
- Experience in logistics, packaging, pooling, supply chain, manufacturing, food ingredients or related industries
- Excellent negotiation, relationship-building and solution-selling skills
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently in a European team environment
- Curiosity, resilience and adaptability to change
