Purpose of Role

Based at Rome Fiumicino Airport and reporting to the Europe HR Senior Manager in Paris. Acts as the local HR representative for all Italian operations. The role supports around 60 employees across airport hospitality locations, ensuring compliance with Italian labor law, payroll coordination, personnel administration, and the implementation of company HR policies. It requires close collaboration with managers and employees, regular travel between Rome and Bergamo, and occasional trips to Paris and other European locations, while offering broad exposure to HR projects in an international environment.

Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and managers across Italian operations.
- Provide day-to-day HR support across employee relations, attendance management, performance matters, disciplinary procedures, and personnel administration.
- Manage HR administrative processes throughout the employee lifecycle, including contracts, amendments, employee records, onboarding, offboarding, and HR documentation.
- Maintain a regular presence within airport lounges and operational facilities to support employees, understand business needs,



and build strong relationships with local teams.
- Support recruitment activities and onboarding processes.
- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs and liaise with payroll providers to ensure payroll accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with Italian labor law, collective agreements, company policies, and internal procedures.
- Support local managers on people-related and organizational matters.
- Monitor legal developments and identify potential HR implications for the business.
- Contribute to HR reporting and regional HR projects.
- Provide support on HR-related aspects of business development projects and tenders when required.
- Act as a reliable local representative of the European HR function and ensure the effective implementation of regional HR policies, priorities, and decisions.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of HR experience supporting frontline or operational workforces.
- Autonomous, well-organized, and accountable.
- Curious, eager to learn, and motivated to progressively broaden their HR and business expertise.
- Comfortable working closely with senior management and gaining exposure to a wide range of HR topics and projects.
- Able to work autonomously while maintaining strong alignment with regional HR management and priorities.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Good knowledge of Italian labor law, payroll processes, and personnel administration.
- Fluent Italian and English. xysqume
- French is a strong advantage; Spanish is a plus.
- Experienced in MS Office applications, ERP applications (preferably Oracle)
