Overview

As Safety Engineer at Applied Materials, you will drive EHS programs across R&D; and manufacturing to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. You will partner with site leaders and cross‑functional teams to manage regulatory obligations and incidents. You will lead training, investigations, and risk mitigation efforts to protect people and the environment. This role offers exposure to global operations, shaping safety practices in a cutting‑edge technology company. You will help build a safer, compliant, and high‑performing organization.

- Drive Environmental, Health and Safety programs and regulatory compliance
- Act as liaison with local and national regulatory authorities
- Lead EHS training for employees and management
- Investigate EHS incidents and drive corrective actions to closure

Responsabilità
- Bachelor or Master in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics Engineering; RSPP certification
- Min 5 years in an EHS role in R&D;/manufacturing
- Knowledge of Italian EHS legislation and auditing
- Experience with EHS xysqume auditing and recommending corrective actions
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint
- Italian and English fluency
- Willingness to travel occasionally
