Senior Project Manager – Pharmaceutical Construction

Location: Parma, Italy

Job Type: Contract / Freelance

Duration: 24 Months

Overview

We are working with a leading engineering contractor delivering a major pharmaceutical construction project in Parma.

They are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a complex pharmaceutical construction project from construction through to commissioning and handover. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-value capital project within a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Responsibilities

- Lead the successful delivery of a major pharmaceutical construction project
- Manage multidisciplinary engineering, construction and commissioning teams
- Coordinate contractors, subcontractors and client stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure delivery against programme, budget and quality objectives
- Monitor project progress and implement mitigation plans where required
- Manage project risks, change control and issue resolution




- Chair project meetings and provide regular progress reporting to senior stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with HSE, GMP and project governance requirements
- Support commissioning, qualification and project handover activities
- Foster strong relationships with the client and project delivery teams

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager on large-scale pharmaceutical or life sciences construction projects
- At least one completed pharmaceutical construction project
- Strong experience delivering projects within EPC/EPCM environments
- Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary construction teams
- Excellent stakeholder, client and contractor management skills
- Strong understanding of construction, commissioning and project delivery within regulated environments
