ph3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign, develop and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using PHP and Laravel, taking full ownership of the process from architecture and design to deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement. /li liBuild and enhance intuitive and user-friendly front‑end features using Vue.js and Vuetify, collaborating closely with the Product Owner to deliver polished, accessible and high‑performance user experiences. /li liDesign, model and optimise data storage solutions across PostgreSQL and MongoDB, ensuring efficient schema design, indexing strategies and query performance as the platform scales. /li liManage and maintain AWS infrastructure (including EC2 and S3) and on‑premises environments to ensure reliability, security and consistent deployment processes across all systems. /li liPromote clean architecture and SOLID principles throughout the codebase to contribute to code quality, through peer reviews, technical discussions and the implementation of best practices. /li liAdvocate for a Test‑Driven Development (TDD) approach by creating comprehensive unit, integration and end‑to‑end tests to ensure system stability and enable frequent, reliable releases. /li liIdentify, analyse and resolve performance bottlenecks and scalability challenges in application code and infrastructure to proactively drive continuous improvement initiatives. /li liParticipate actively in sprint planning, design workshops and retrospectives, while mentoring junior developers and contributing to the evolution of engineering standards and best practices. /li /ul h3Qualifications Skills /h3 ul liDegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field. /li liSolid hands‑on experience with PHP and Laravel, including Eloquent ORM, queues, service providers, and the development of clean, maintainable, and testable code. /li liStrong front‑end development experience with Vue.js; experience with Vuetify or a similar component framework is highly desirable. /li liGood working knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB,
