p Our client is looking for a Grid Manager to play a key role in the development and delivery of utility-scale renewable energy projects. This position will focus on managing the electrical infrastructure required to connect Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to the electricity network, ensuring projects progress efficiently from early-stage development through to construction. p Key Responsibilities: /pulli Lead the assessment and development of grid connection solutions for utility-scale renewable energy projects. /lili Evaluate high-voltage (HV) and medium-voltage (MV) connection options, including substations, overhead transmission lines and underground cable routes. /lili Recommend the most appropriate technical and commercial connection strategy based on project objectives, programme and network constraints. /lili Coordinate the engineering activities required to progress projects through development, design and grid connection stages. /lili Manage technical studies, feasibility assessments and engineering deliverables produced by external consultants and design partners. /lili Ensure technical documentation is accurate, compliant and delivered in line with project milestones. /lili Act as a key point of contact with Transmission System Operators (TSOs), Distribution System Operators (DSOs), engineering consultants and other third-party stakeholders. /lili Support negotiations relating to grid connection agreements and technical requirements. /lili Build strong working relationships to facilitate successful project delivery /lili Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring schedules, budgets and technical deliverables remain on track. /lili Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise delays and technical challenges. /lili Provide regular progress updates and technical reporting to senior management. /lili Prepare cost estimates and support budget management for electrical infrastructure and connection works.



/lili Review engineering proposals and technical solutions to ensure value for money while maintaining quality and compliance. /lili Support commercial evaluations by providing technical input throughout the project lifecycle. /lili Work closely with Development, Engineering, Construction, Legal, Commercial and Operations teams to ensure seamless project execution. /lili Support project handover into the construction phase and provide ongoing technical guidance during delivery of grid connection works. /li /ulp Experience: /pulli Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. /lili Minimum of three years' experience within the renewable energy or electrical infrastructure sector. /lili Experience delivering grid connection solutions for utility-scale renewable energy projects is highly desirable. /lili Knowledge of Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) or other grid-connected technologies would be advantageous. /lili Strong understanding of high-voltage and medium-voltage electrical infrastructure, including substations and transmission networks. /lili Experience with grid connection processes and electrical network requirements. /lili Familiarity with national grid regulations, connection standards and utility requirements. /lili Ability to critically review engineering drawings, technical reports and design documentation. /lili Strong project coordination and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. /lili Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. /lili Effective communicator with experience working across multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders. /lili Ability to identify project risks and develop practical mitigation strategies. /lili Proactive, self-motivated and capable of working independently within a fast-paced environment. /li /ulp If you have experience in the Renewable Energy industry and are looking for a new role in Europe or UK, reach out to me at /p /p
