p Job Title: Telco Cloud Consultant (Java Developer)p Location: Milan, Lombardy, Italy /pp Employment Type: Permanent, Full‐Time /pp Role Summary /pp We are looking for a skilled and motivated Java Developer with experience in Telco Cloud environments to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable, high-performance applications and working closely with cross-functional teams in an agile setup. /pp Key Responsibilities /pulli Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications in a cloud/telco environment. /lili Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices. /lili Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features. /lili Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement. /lili Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and production issues. /lili Ensure high levels of performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. /lili Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, especially in Telco Cloud. /li /ulp Required Skills Qualifications /pulli Strong experience in Java development (Java 8 or above).
/lili Experience with frameworks such as Spring / Spring Boot / Microservices architecture. /lili Exposure to Telco Cloud technologies (e.g., NFV, SDN, Kubernetes, OpenStack). /lili Familiarity with REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices. /lili Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. /lili Good problem-solving and debugging skills. /lili Strong communication and collaboration abilities. /li /ulp Nice to Have /pulli Experience in telecom domain (OSS/BSS). /lili Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). /lili Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). /li /ulp About HCLTech /pp HCLTech is a global technology company with over 226,000 employees across 60 countries.
