The partnership with /ppPerformant Capital marks the beginning of an ambitious plan to build a global all-in-one platform /ppfor the wine industry. /ppbr / /ppOur values are innovation, quality, transparency, and respect. /ppbr / /ppstrongThe position: /strong /ppTo support our growth, we are looking for a Finance, Accounting Controlling Specialist with /pp5-10+ years of experience in financial controlling and accounting, ideally within a SaaS or technology-driven company. /ppbr / /ppThe ideal candidate will play a key role in the implementation and optimization of /ppaccounting/financial processes and control systems to support strategic decisions.
You will work /ppclosely with the CEO and the leadership team to monitor KPIs, manage financial planning and budgeting, and ensure accurate financial reporting. /ppbr / /ppstrongMain responsibilities: /strong /ppbr / /pp Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports. /ppbr / /pp Support the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes. /ppbr / /pp Monitor and analyze financial performance, including revenue recognition, churn and key SaaS metrics (e.g., MRR, CAC, LTV). /ppbr / /pp Oversee cost control activities and support expense optimization initiatives. /ppbr / /pp Manage invoicing, supplier payments and ensure timely processing of accounts payable/receivable. /ppbr / /pp Oversee payroll activities in collaboration with external providers and ensure accurate payment of salaries and related contributions. /ppbr / /pp Act as the primary liaison to collaborate with external accountants and consultants for tax and /ppcompliance matters. /ppbr / /pp Improve and maintain internal processes and reporting tools, including automation of /pprecurring reports.
/ppbr / /pp Analyze cash flow and support treasury functions to ensure liquidity and risk management. /ppbr / /pp Maintain accurate pricing data and integrate updates from distribution partners into systems /ppbr / /ppstrongYour skills: /strong /ppbr / /pp 5-10 years of experience in accounting, controlling or financial roles in tech companies or startups. /ppbr / /pp Strong knowledge of financial principles and accounting standards, including both IFRS and GAAP. /ppbr / /pp Familiarity with SaaS business models, KPIs and financial dynamics. /ppbr / /pp Proficiency in Excel and data analysis; experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI) is a plus. /ppbr / /pp Experience with ERP/accounting software (e.g., Fatture in Cloud, QuickBooks, Xero or similar). /ppbr / /pp Excellent analytical skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. /ppbr / /pp Proactive, hands-on attitude and ability to work independently. /ppbr / /pp Good communication skills and ability to explain complex financial topics to non-financial stakeholders. /ppbr / /pp Fluency in Italian and English. /ppbr / /ppstrongWhat we offer: /strong /pp Permanent employment contract with competitive compensation based on experience. /ppbr / /pp Hybrid work model (office in Milan and remote). /ppbr / /pp Company welfare program and private health insurance. /ppbr / /pp Opportunities for career development and participation in strategic projects. /ppbr / /pp A collaborative, open, and wine-loving team environment. /p
