About The JobThe Laboratory Technician is responsible for laboratory management and conducting tests on raw materials. This role ensures material compliance, monitors material performance, and plays a key part in the continuous improvement of product quality.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform material compliance tests according to defined protocols.Evaluate results and transmit them to relevant stakeholders.Monitor material non-conformities and anticipate potential performance deviations.Conduct in-depth tests upon detection of an alert.Identify and report declines in material performance quickly.Improve responsiveness to ensure optimal quality from the first alerts.Oversee proper functioning and maintenance of testing machinery.Update standards and protocols to ensure compliance.Reduce approval times for new products and ensure maximum equipment reliability.Contribute to testing campaigns in collaboration with other laboratories.Follow the laboratory re-accreditation process.Actively participate in the implementation of robust supplier quality assurance.ProfileExperience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control and handling of testing equipment, with a strong interest in materials.Performing and prioritizing quality tests.Ability to analyze and evaluate test results.Proficiency in using a monitoring system such as Skylims.Technical Skills: Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); knowledge of SAP management software is preferred.Languages: Good knowledge of English and preferably French.Reference LVM31556#J-18808-Ljbffr
