pOur client is looking for a Grid Manager to play a key role in the development and delivery of utility-scale renewable energy projects. This position will focus on managing the electrical infrastructure required to connect Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to the electricity network, ensuring projects progress efficiently from early-stage development through to construction. /ppbr / /ppKey Responsibilities: /pulliLead the assessment and development of grid connection solutions for utility-scale renewable energy projects. /liliEvaluate high-voltage (HV) and medium-voltage (MV) connection options, including substations, overhead transmission lines and underground cable routes. /liliRecommend the most appropriate technical and commercial connection strategy based on project objectives, programme and network constraints. /liliCoordinate the engineering activities required to progress projects through development, design and grid connection stages. /liliManage technical studies, feasibility assessments and engineering deliverables produced by external consultants and design partners. /liliEnsure technical documentation is accurate, compliant and delivered in line with project milestones. /liliAct as a key point of contact with Transmission System Operators (TSOs), Distribution System Operators (DSOs), engineering consultants and other third-party stakeholders. /liliSupport negotiations relating to grid connection agreements and technical requirements. /liliBuild strong working relationships to facilitate successful project delivery /liliOversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring schedules, budgets and technical deliverables remain on track. /liliIdentify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise delays and technical challenges. /liliProvide regular progress updates and technical reporting to senior management. /liliPrepare cost estimates and support budget management for electrical infrastructure and connection works.



/liliReview engineering proposals and technical solutions to ensure value for money while maintaining quality and compliance. /liliSupport commercial evaluations by providing technical input throughout the project lifecycle. /liliWork closely with Development, Engineering, Construction, Legal, Commercial and Operations teams to ensure seamless project execution. /liliSupport project handover into the construction phase and provide ongoing technical guidance during delivery of grid connection works. /li /ulpbr / /ppExperience: /pulliDegree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. /liliMinimum of three years#39; experience within the renewable energy or electrical infrastructure sector. /liliExperience delivering grid connection solutions for utility-scale renewable energy projects is highly desirable. /liliKnowledge of Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) or other grid-connected technologies would be advantageous. /liliStrong understanding of high-voltage and medium-voltage electrical infrastructure, including substations and transmission networks. /liliExperience with grid connection processes and electrical network requirements. /liliFamiliarity with national grid regulations, connection standards and utility requirements. /liliAbility to critically review engineering drawings, technical reports and design documentation. /liliStrong project coordination and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. /liliExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. /liliEffective communicator with experience working across multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders. /liliAbility to identify project risks and develop practical mitigation strategies. /liliProactive, self-motivated and capable of working independently within a fast-paced environment. /li /ulpbr / /ppIf you have experience in the Renewable Energy industry and are looking for a new role in Europe or UK, reach out to me at /p
