Desktop Support Engineer (L1) | On-Demand Dispatch Engineer | Venice, Italy | Freelance / B2B ContractLocation: Venice (Onsite)Employment Type: Freelance / B2B ContractEngagement: On-Demand Dispatch | Ticket-Based WorkWe are looking for experienced Desktop Support Engineers (L1) to join our on-demand dispatch network. Engineers will be assigned onsite support requests based on customer tickets and project requirements to provide hands-on technical assistance in enterprise environments.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide onsite desktop and deskside support for hardware, software, and network-related issuesPerform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) and break/fix activitiesInstall, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devicesSupport Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, VPN, and basic networkingManage Active Directory user accounts, password resets, and group membershipsSupport Microsoft Intune and/or SCCM for device imaging, software deployment,



and endpoint managementTroubleshoot BitLocker encryption and recovery key issuesUpdate service tickets and documentation while adhering to SLA and ITIL processesEscalate complex technical issues when requiredRequirements3+ years of experience in Desktop Support, EUC, or IT SupportHands-on experience with Active DirectoryExperience with Microsoft Intune and/or SCCMExperience supporting BitLocker encryption and recoveryStrong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365Basic networking and hardware troubleshooting skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to travel to customer sites and respond to dispatch requestsOwn laptop and standard IT toolkit preferredRate CardHourly Rate: €30 /hourHalf-Day (up to 4 hours): €90Full-Day (up to 8 hours): €140This is an on-demand dispatch role, not a full-time position. Engineers are engaged on a ticket-by-ticket basis depending on customer requirements.
