We operate as a licensed telecom operator and provide interconnection services to major Mobile Network Operators, aggregators, and digital service providers worldwide. /ppbr / /ppstrongLocation: Milan, Cremona or fully remote /strong /ppstrong Salary Range: €50.000 - 55.000 /strong /ppbr / /ppstrongYour impact /strong /ppAs strongSenior Java Developer, /strong you will drive the technical evolution of Agile Telecom’s messaging platform, owning the SMS gateway and internal Tools ecosystem end-to-end. /ppYou will combine hands-on Java development with technical leadership, helping the team build scalable, reliable and observable systems while contributing to the adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices. /ppYou’ll work closely with Engineering, DevOps and Product stakeholders in a lean and highly technical environment. /ppbr / /ppstrongSome examples of your responsibilities /strong /ppstrongEngineering Platform /strong /pulliDevelop, review and maintain core Java services powering the SMS gateway and internal Tools platform. /liliDesign and improve SMPP integrations, DLR handling, routing, throttling and carrier connectivity. /liliDrive observability initiatives and reliability standards across the platform. /liliOwn technical debt remediation and architectural improvements. /liliContribute to the evolution toward multichannel capabilities (RCS, WhatsApp, Viber).
