ph3Summary /h3pLocation: Ivrea, Italy #onsite /ph3Role Purpose /h3pLead and serves the Engineering organization for TRD RLT, which is responsible to establish, maintain and improve the engineering processes with respect to buildings, equipment, utilities and energy. The Engineering Lead is also responsible to provide provision of engineering related tools and systems (calibration, engineering database, CMMS, Comos) /ppResponsibility for design, execution and hand-over of investment major projects within cost, time schedule, quality, and functionality within area of technical responsibility. /ppEnsure that equipment, infrastructure, and investment projects are fully operational, meet regulatory GMP and HSE (including radioprotection) compliance through efficient, effective, compliant and innovative maintenance /ppResponsible for leading the engineering / maintenance organization at site and ensures that equipment, infrastructure, and building are fully operational, meet regulatory-, GMP -and HSE -compliance and are further developed to meet future requirements. /ph3Main Activities /h3h3Strategy /h3ulliManage and execute projects in alignment with key local and global stakeholders and ensure projects on site are developed through their various stages of scope, definition, approval, and implementation /liliResponsible for the management/execution of all site investment projects according to asset life cycle management and project schedules, time, cost, functionality, and quality /liliEnsure state of the art technical solutions according compliance standards and HSE regulations including radioprotection regulations /liliResponsible to develop / maintain Engineering site strategy plan (Capex Plan, recapitalization of equipment,
budgeting, etc.) and oversight of its implementation. /liliResponsible for the technical availability, reliability, and condition of the production plants. /liliLead sharing and leveraging of best practices and expertise within the Novartis engineering community /liliLead the implementation of technology strategy and the approved equipment standards and project execution standards /li /ulh3Leadership Organization /h3ulliBe available, accountable, decisive, honest and trustworthy to a group of subordinate specialists /liliPlan resources for maintenance / calibration - Monitor and control backlogs of maintenance / calibration work orders - Select vendor / contractor /liliEnsure technical training of Engineering personnel: training curricula, training execution /li /ulh3Quality Compliance /h3ulliSupport internal and external audits /liliEnsure Compliance with Quality Manual/ Quality Modules/ GOPs. /li /ulh3Maintenance Calibration /h3ulliDrive/ improve technical availability, reliability, and condition of assets /liliDevelop, monitor and improve KPI for engineeringEstablish cost efficient repair and maintenance processes in compliance with local regulations, HSE,
GMP /liliDefine and execute asset strategy and proper asset lifecycle management /liliManage maintenance improvement projects and initiatives /liliCreate and control maintenance/ calibration budget, drive efficiencies /li /ulh3Ideal Background /h3h3Education (minimum/desirable) /h3pDegree in industrial field engineering or equivalent.
