Unwind at AQVAM Spa or indulge in glamour at Beppe d'Elia's Hair Jewelry Salon. /pp Report to: Director of Engineering /pp Job Title: Engineering Manager /pp The Engineering Manager is responsible for the strategic and operational management of all hotel maintenance activities, ensuring the optimal functioning of systems, equipment, and infrastructure, in full compliance with Park Hyatt standards, safety regulations, and the expectations of an international luxury clientele. /pp Key Responsibilities /pp Technical and Operational Management /pulli Plan, coordinate, and supervise routine, extraordinary, and preventive maintenance activities across the hotel /lili Ensure the operational efficiency of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems,



and building management systems /lili Respond promptly to critical failures to minimize impact on guest experience and hotel operations /lili Manage maintenance issues to guarantee continuous hotel efficiency, in coordination with the Engineering Supervisor /lili Conduct periodic visual inspections (daily or weekly) to verify compliance with standards, schedules, and hotel activities /lili Supervise the work carried out by external contractors on-site /lili Develop and oversee projects defined by management, supporting the Director of Engineering /li /ulp Leadership and People Management /pulli Manage, coordinate, and develop the maintenance team, ensuring high levels of competence, motivation, and performance /lili Organize work shifts, on-call schedules, and ongoing technical training /lili Participate in daily departmental briefings ("handover") to ensure effective communication /lili Promote a culture of safety, quality, and attention to detail /li /ulp Luxury Standards and Guest Experience /pulli Collaborate with Front Office, Housekeeping, FB, and other hotel departments to ensure impeccable and responsive service to guest needs /lili Ensure that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces consistently meet the aesthetic and functional standards of the Park Hyatt brand /lili Handle VIP guest requests or feedback with discretion and professionalism /li /ulp Compliance, Safety, and Sustainability /pulli Ensure full compliance with all applicable regulations regarding safety, health, environment, and energy efficiency /lili Coordinate inspections, technical audits,



and controls by external authorities /lili Implement sustainability initiatives, energy-saving measures, and improvements to environmental impact /lili Verify and supervise safety aspects related to external contractors, supporting the Director of Engineering in activities related to contract management /li /ulp Budget and Suppliers /pulli Prepare and manage the maintenance and CAPEX budget, supporting the Director of Engineering and Engineering Department /lili Select, negotiate, and oversee external suppliers and contractors in coordination with the Director of Engineering and Procurement Office, with particular attention to scheduling their activities /lili Monitor costs, maintenance contracts, and supplier performance, supporting the Director of Engineering and Engineering Department /li /ulp Position Details /pp Job Level: 2° CCNL Turismo-Federalberghi /pp Employment Type: Full-time /pp Salary Range: € 45.000 - € 50.000 gross per year / 14 months /pp Requirements and Qualifications /pulli Technical diploma or degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Building, or related fields) /lili Solid experience (minimum 5–7 years) in similar roles, preferably in luxury hospitality or complex environments /lili Fluent English /lili Flexibility to work shifts and weekends /lili Proven experience managing structured technical teams /lili Strong knowledge of hotel systems and maintenance operations /lili Familiarity with preventive maintenance software and Building Management Systems (BMS) /lili Knowledge of Italian safety and fire regulations /lili Strong leadership with a service-oriented approach /lili Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills /lili High attention to detail and quality standards /lili Ability to work in high-pressure environments with demanding standards /li /ul /p
