- Sourcing/Purchasing 10/28/2024 **PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT PURCHASING SPECIALIST**:
**Responsibilities**:
The Product Development Purchasing Specialist will support the activities in NPD (New Product Development) components sourcing & tracking, with a focus on timing & costs. Main Responsibilities: - Timing & cost tracking on NPD on assigned projects
- Sourcing process starting & tracking on in collaboration with Strategic Sourcing, organizing technical alignment meetings with supplier, supporting commodities on tracking the tooling construction ensuring the overall project timing;
- Cooperate with Strategic Sourcing (Commodity Purchasing), Product Management, R&D;, Quality, Operations, Marketing and Design to drive the global sourcing projects;
- Lead cost reduction activities across different commodities;
- Product or Process changes in regards to assigned projects, together with R&D;, Strategic sourcing and Manufacturing
- Support supplier selection of Strategic Sourcing (Commodity Purchasing) or Operational Purchasing / Material Management on assigned products, especially towards Best-Cost-Countries (Sourcing, LCC); **Job Profile**:
Qualifications and knowledge: - Bachelor Degree/Master Degree in Engineering or Management




- At least 2 years of professional experience in Purchasing / Product Development department
- Technical knowledge of production process or curiosity on “how it’s made” for components and/or products Skills, capabilities, competencies: - Good communication skills
- Good project management skills
- Fluent in English
- MS Office suite proficency
