Areas of responsibility include restaurants, room service, and banqueting. bar and storeChecks invoices for acknowledgement of receipt of goodsChecks arithmetic accuracyChecks unit cost to ensure that they are charged as per contract priceProcesses store requisitionChecks all store requisitions have been properly approved by authorised personChecks outlet requisition and keeps stock above parCalculates potential food and beverage cost of various outlets and overall cost of sales, then takes immediate action on cost controlControls menu costing and pricingKeys in computer on daily receiving functionHelps to check and match invoices or delivery order with purchase order or purchase requisitionSpot checks on receiving of goods to ensure that they are in accordance with the specification set by ManagementControls inventory of store itemsRandomly checks store level to control losses, spoilage, damage and obsolescence; carries out monthly stock take of storeReports discrepancies to Director of FinanceControls inventory in food and beverage outletsRandomly checks par stock levelSpot checks on portion and wastagesPrepares and reports interim weekly and monthly F&B costsControls and re-costs house chargePosts monthly F&B adjustments in the General JournalProcesses and posts all goods received without invoice accrualSchedules periodic spot checks of bars and kitchen areas to check proper usage and storage of raw materialsDemonstrates awareness of HACCP policies and procedures and ensures all procedures are conducted safely and within HACCP guidelinesPrepares monthly and annual VAT declarationsPrepares VAT monthly paymentsProcesses self billing invoicesPrepares the self-consumption VAT computationMaintains updated files of all VAT registers (Sales, Purchase, Self Billing and Intrastat) on a monthly basisImplements and maintains all fiscal reports required by existing fiscal laws and new laws (any type)Maintains controls on City Tax and prepares quarterly payments to the municipal bankResolves small issues on tax claims with tax officeAssists appointed consultant in resolving tax claimsLiaises with SIAE for monthly and extraordinary payments#J-18808-Ljbffr
