ppNote - Travel Experience Required /p h3JOB SUMMARY /h3 pThe Registered Nurse – Operating Room provides specialized perioperative care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. This role requires expertise in surgical protocols, sterile techniques, and patient safety standards. The nurse collaborates with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure efficient and safe operations while delivering compassionate patient care. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liPrepare patients for surgical procedures, including assessments and pre-operative education /li liAssist surgeons and anesthesiologists during operations /li liMaintain sterile field and enforce infection control protocols /li liAdminister medications and monitor patient responses during surgery /li liDocument patient care accurately in EMR systems /li liProvide post-operative care including monitoring recovery and educating patients/families /li liCollaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth workflow and patient safety /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul liAssociate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing /li liActive Registered Nurse (RN) license /li liMinimum of 2 years of experience in perioperative or operating room nursing /li liStrong knowledge of surgical protocols, sterile techniques, and patient safety standards /li liExcellent communication and teamwork skills /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience in specialty surgical units (orthopedic, cardiac, neurosurgery, etc.) /li liFamiliarity with EMR systems such as Epic or Cerner /li /ul h3Certifications /h3 ul liBasic Life Support (BLS) certification required /li liAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred /li liCertified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) credential is a plus /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
