Role Title: Site Manager | Utility-Scale Solar Location: Abruzzo brPiper Maddox are supporting an Italian IPP based in Rome who are searching for an experienced Site Manager to oversee the on-site delivery of multiple utility-scale solar projects. With a strong pipeline of 250MW planned for 2026 and backing from one of the world’s largest infrastructure investment funds, this organisation is continuing to scale its in-house EPC capabilities. brFollowing the successful delivery of 100MW over the past 12 months, they are now looking for a hands-on Site Manager with strong medium voltage (MV) experience to coordinate site activities, manage subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. brResponsibilities brOversee day-to-day site operations across multiple utility-scale solar PV projects, with a focus on medium voltage (MV) works brCoordinate and manage subcontractors across electrical and civil scopes, ensuring efficient execution brSupervise MV installation including cabling, substations, inverters, and grid connection activities brEnsure projects are delivered on time, within budget,
and in line with quality expectations brMaintain strict adherence to HSE regulations and site compliance standards brAct as the main on-site point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders brMonitor site progress, resolve technical and logistical issues, and provide regular reporting to project management brSupport commissioning activities and ensure smooth handover of completed projects brKey Skills Experience brMinimum of 5 years’ experience in site management within utility-scale solar PV projects brStrong experience with medium voltage (MV) infrastructure and grid connection works brProven background in EPC construction environments with strong on-site delivery experience brAbility to manage multiple sites or complex project scopes simultaneously brStrong subcontractor management and coordination skills brDegree in Engineering or relevant technical background preferred brFluent in Italian and English brWhy Join?brWell-established Italian IPP delivering a significant 250MW construction pipeline in 2026brOpportunity to play a key role in scaling an in-house EPC function brClear progression opportunities as the project pipeline continues to grow
