- Other **Purpose of the job** This role will manage a diverse portfolio of claims, either to third party (such as trailers/containers/cargo) and to Company equipment (if involved with third party), ensuring efficient and fair resolution while delivering exceptional service to clients and stakeholders. **Summary of responsibilities**:
Collaborate closely with operations, shift Leaders, Sales/Commercial to perform: - Analyses and applies policy coverage accurately to all assigned claims
- Investigate properly the assigned claims
- Acquire relevant documentation that may need as support of the claim (e.g. interchange, CCTV/mails)
- Negotiates and settles claims proactively in accordance with Company guidelines and best practices
- Reserves claims accurately in accordance with Company guidelines and best practices
- Ensures that Company service standards are upheld
- Maintains data accuracy with clear archive
- Evaluate costs involved and eventual repair with external vendor or perfomed by our staff
- Manage external vendor with relative quotations and relative invoice/s
- Authorises claim payments and reserves within agreed claims handling authority as per Company policy
- Optimize processes and tools (e.g. TOS, operators engagement) to handle claims in an efficient way, elaborating meaningful reporting on claims managed




- Provide support as required by other members of other departments and fully participate in individual and shared project work
- Communicate, coordinate and cooperate with all parties involved (departments, insurance companies if required) **Education & Experience**: - Post-diploma education in logistics
- +3 years previous experience in similar role **Technical Skills & Knowledge Required**: - Knowledge of operations processes
- Knowledge of insurances legal and contractual framework **Behavioral Competences Required**: - Openly communicates knowledge of his/her actions with manager and colleagues in order to consider and better understand the impact on other technical, operational, sales and financial disciplines
