Once on board we nurture and promote talented individuals, making sure that senior positions are open to all. **Discover the Role** The primary responsibility of the Accounting&Tax; Specialist is to work with the Supervisor/Senior Accountant in meeting the accounting, tax and other reporting commitments of the relevant clients.
S/he is responsible for individual goals and helping to meet the wider departmental goals.
Furthermore, the Accounting&Tax; Specialist will ensure timely and quality accounts preparation and calculation and daily deliverables of excellent services to a portfolio of assigned clients. **Key Responsibilities**
- Accounting entries
- Assures compliance to VAT principles
- Calculation of monthly withholding tax
- Preparation of Tax return
- Calculation of Italian Municipal Property taxes (IMU, TASI)
- Creates queries and reports on Payroll data




- Prepares simple financial reports or supports Senior Associate Accountant in predisposing complex financial reports
- Escalates to more senior members of staff relevant queries
- Supports and manages clients and internal requests in a timely manner **Key Requirements**
- Good knowledge of English (B2)
- Expertise in all MS Office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
- Knowledge of Profis system is considered a plus
- High School Diploma and/or Degree Economics
- Up to 4 years’ experience in similar Organizations
- Good client services skills and ability to meet required deadlines
- Responsible and organized
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of Accounting and budget account
- Operational knowledge of VAT and other corporate taxation matters
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements for companies in Italy (Statutory deadlines, filing requirements etc.). **What’s in it for you?** Working flexibility
