- Knowledge of accountancy principles as IAS/IFRS and OIC

The Statutory specialist supports the Accounting Manager in the Statutory Accounting and Reporting processes in Finance for the various legal entities of Nestlé in Italy & Malta, acts as the guardian of the accounting policies and procedures and analyzes the P&L; and Balance Sheet to guarantee compliance with tax and IFRS. **A day in the life of the Statutory Specialist**
- Produces the Market Statutory Reporting in compliance with local accounting regulations
- Handles any Accounting related processes which remain with Market Retained Organization
- Ensures compliance with Nestlé guidelines, Group instructions and best practices
- Completes Pre-PEC health checks
- Reviews and approves Management account schedules Balance-Sheet (CACT schedules prepared prepared by Nestle Shared Service Center)




- Responsible for the completion of remaining in-market Management account schedules and overall submission to the Group as per calendar
- Reviews and approves reconciliations done by the Nestle Shared Service Center; Resolve any unreconciled items (banks, general ledger, intragroup, provision) routed by the Nestle Shared Service Center
- Prepares reconciliations of Balance Sheet Account in accordance with corporate policies and IFRS Standards
- Single Point of Contact of Nestle Shared Service Center
- Ensures action closure together with Shared Service Center team, attending Weekly and Monthly Record to Report Operations review
- Acts as Total Service Quality ambassador to ensure partnership with R2R Nestle Shared Service Center, ensuring improvement of Net Promoter Score **What will make you successful**

- Great communication skills and ability to work with remote teams
- Formal Accountancy qualification
- Proficiency in Office tools (Excel), SAP
- Proficiency in English and Italian is a must
- Previous auditor experience is a nice to have
