Optec is looking for a skilled candidate in Quality Assurance (QA) and Product Assurance (PA).

LOCATION:
Busto Garolfo (MI)

DUTIES
The candidate will work independently and in team in the Quality Assurance department and will manage all PA activities of space programs within their whole duration, acting as reference for the Customer for all PA aspects.
The activities will include:

- Preparation of PA documentation according to ECSS standards
- Management of PA meetings with the Customer
- Management of Non-conformances with Customers and Suppliers, including root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions
- Hardware inspections and witnessing of Production activities
- Material and Process testing for space applications
- Cleanliness and contamination control for optical applications

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Scientific degree
- Working experience:



2-5 years in Product Assurance
- Data analysis
- Good spoken and written English level

REQUIRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS:

- Good knowledge of Quality Management and QA techniques (8D, fishbone diagram...)
- Good communication skills, within international teams, technical topics, under pressure
- Good expertise in the management of NCs and NRBs (Non-Conformances Review Boards with Costumers) with root-cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, deviations, ...
- Knowledge of materials and processes (optical coatings, surface treatments, as black anodization, SurTec650, adhesive bonding, paint application) (plus)
