We are growing our team and looking for those interested in pursuing this dream with us and joining an ever-developing journey. **THE ROLE** **WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?** **Team Management**: - Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of a team of mechanics, including scheduling, task allocation, and performance reviews.
- Provide hands-on guidance and training to ensure team members develop technical skills and adhere to company standards.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. **Workshop Operations**: - Plan, prioritize, and oversee campervan repair and maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with safety regulations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for escalated technical issues or complex repairs. **Inventory and Spare Parts Management**: - Monitor stock levels of tools, spare parts, and consumables, ensuring availability to meet operational needs.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement and negotiate cost-effective purchasing agreements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and implement cost-control measures. **Budget and Reporting**: - Track and report on workshop performance metrics, including repair turnaround times and budget adherence.
- Propose improvements in processes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs. **Safety and Compliance**: - Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards. **WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**
- Proven experience in mechanical repair and maintenance, preferably in campervans or similar vehicles.
- Knowledge of stock and spare part management systems.
- Budget management experience and a results-oriented approach.
