The Role

CRA Make is part of CRA Group, an international collective of companies working at the intersection of design, technology, and innovation.

We are looking for an experienced R&D; Coordinator with a strong engineering background to lead and coordinate innovation projects from concept through to implementation.

This role is ideal for someone who combines solid theoretical knowledge with a hands-on approach, and who thrives in managing complex technical activities while driving efficiency and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and oversee R&D; projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and technical objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, production, quality)
- Lead the development of new products and the continuous improvement of existing ones
- Support the definition of technical specifications and engineering solutions
- Monitor and analyze prototype and product performance
- Manage external suppliers and technical partners
- Prepare technical documentation and progress reports

Requirements

- Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering




- Approximately 10 years of experience in engineering and/or R&D; roles
- Strong knowledge of product design and development processes
- Hands-on experience with prototyping and testing machinery
- Advanced proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks or equivalent)
- Proven experience managing complex projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and leadership abilities
- Fluent in Italian (written and spoken)

Nice to Have

- Experience in structured industrial environments
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Stage-Gate)
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and industrialization
