YellowSquare is looking for a reliable, professional, and proactive **Night Porter - Receptionist** for our vibrant Florence hostel. Located in the heart of the city, this role is the heartbeat of our nights: you’ll be the go-to person for our guests when the sun goes down, balancing administrative precision with a watchful eye on the hostel’s safety. **What you’ll do**: - Front Desk Management: Dealing with bookings and managing the front desk during the night shift.
- Guest Operations: Completing smooth Check-in and Check-out procedures.
- Financial Accuracy: Preparing bills, taking payments, and ensuring all night-audit tasks are spot on.
- Safety & Security: Patrol and secure hallways, common areas, and our Florence rooftop/entrances to maintain a safe environment.
- Problem Solving: Handling guest complaints or technical problems with a proactive mindset.
- Emergency Contact: Acting as the first point of contact for any emergencies during the night. **What you’ll bring**: - Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role (hospitality or front desk).
- Hospitality Soul: Excellence in customer service—you know how to make a guest feel at home in the Cradle of the Renaissance.
- Cool Under Pressure: Ability to stay calm and professional in unexpected situations.
- Languages: High proficiency in spoken and written English (any other language is a big plus!).
- Flexibility: Availability for night shifts and a reliable work ethic.
