Context:
We are looking for a Business Consultant to join our Professional Services team , acting as a trusted functional and business expert in the delivery of enterprise software solutions.
In this role, you will work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to translate business needs into effective solutions, ensuring high-quality delivery and long-term product adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead customer workshops to gather, analyze, and prioritize business and functional requirements.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Solution Architect to produce the Business Blueprint and ensure solution design meets business needs, project constraints, and product vision.
- Deliver elements of system design (data migration rules, business rules, prototypes, detailed specifications).
- Contribute to multiple projects in parallel, working closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams.
- Support development, QA, and UAT phases by defining requirements, acceptance criteria, and validating deliverables.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing functional guidance to customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Support Sales and Pre-Sales activities, including RFPs, RFIs, and solution demonstrations.
Key skills and requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Consultant delivering software solutions.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of and experience in the use software design and modeling tools (e.G. UML etc.).
- Experience in requirements gathering,
solution design, and stakeholder management
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in PLM and/or Food & Beverage /Chemical environments is a strong plus.
- Professional working proficiency in Italian language.
- Proficient in English, both in written and verbal communication.
Domestic travel and occasional international travel may be required
