You will have abundant opportunities to meaningfully impact the growth of our business in your region. /p pWe are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Rome for our hybrid working model. /p h3bCandidate /b Profile /h3 pWe’re looking for a highly technical individual, with strong problem-solving and communication skills, and comfortable working closely with customers. /p pOur ideal candidate will have /p ul liExcellent analytical, diagnostic skills, and problem-solving skills /li liHigh motivation for a role that combines deep technical and customer-management dimensions /li liConfidence speaking and presenting in a collaborative customer setting /li li2+ years of software development/consulting/support experience, preferably in several distinct industries/verticals /li liFamiliarity with enterprise-scale software architectures, application development methodologies, and software deployment and operations /li liCompetence in at least one of the following languages (in no particular order): Java,



C++, C#, Python, Node.js (JavaScript), Ruby, Perl, Scala, Go /li liExperience with databases such as MongoDB, Oracle, MS SQL Server, and PostgreSQL /li liFamiliarity with Linux diagnostics and tuning; Windows tuning knowledge is a plus /li liShould be capable and comfortable with frequent travel for short trips to customer sites during the working week /li liShould have strong capability with, minimally, both English and any local language - as necessary /li /ul h3Position Expectations /h3 pAs a core member of the MongoDB Professional Services team, you will /p ul liContribute to customer implementations at any or all phases of the application lifecycle: portfolio assessment, application planning and design, deployment architectures, development and build, integration and release configuration, system testing, production operations, application optimization, and best practices adoption /li liDeliver customer classroom-based training to architect, developer and operations roles /li liWork as part of a wider delivery team comprising fellow consulting engineers, project managers and account teams /li liCultivate your individual MongoDB reputation as a trusted advisor to guide MongoDB and our customers into the future /li liPartner with Product and Engineering teams to influence the direction of the MongoDB product roadmap /li /ul h3Success Measures /h3 pAs a Consulting Engineer you will be successful in this role when you can execute the following /p ul liBecome a field expert in "everything MongoDB" /li liCommunicate complex technical proposals simply and convincingly to a wide range of audiences /li liGain a reputation as a trusted advisor with your clients, large and small /li liEnsure your client’s success with their MongoDB endeavors /li liMaintain the required level of billable utilization /li liInfluence MongoDB product development by contributing experience from the field /li liSuccessfully communicate the product roadmap to external clients /li liConstantly work on improving yourself, our products and our team /li /ul h3About MongoDB /h3 pMongoDB is built for change, empowering our customers and our people to innovate at the speed of the market.
