Design Manager (Data Center) - Italy (Milan) A well-established engineering consulting firm is looking for a Design Manager for a Data Center project in the Milan area. This will be a 12 month project and would see you being responsible for the technical coordination of an interdisciplinary design team Responsibilities will include: * Management of coordination activities in a BIM environment, formulating inputs and observations * Verification of the qualitative and quantitative technical contents of the design in relation to the project requirements in the various phases of work * Verification of the work carried out by external consultants * Coordination of permitting activities and specialist consultancy to obtain building permits * Preparation of summary reports relating to the various project phases for the company management * Management and monitoring of planning, verification,



and control of the execution times * Collaboration with field staff and / or with departmental colleagues to anticipate and resolve projects-related problems * Collaboration with managers of various disciplines to maintain a strong team, cultivating the relationships between each specialist group Candidate profile: * Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role * Strong command of English (B2/C1 level) and a good working knowledge of Italian (B1/B2 level). * Good knowledge of single text of the legislative and regulatory provisions on construction in Italy, AutoCAD, Revit (Autodesk) and ACC work platform * Knowledge and experience in MEP and firefighting disciplines will be considered a plus * Proven construction management experience in Data Center will be considered a plus * Good knowledge and experience with project management procedures * Regular on-site presence is required; projects are located in the Milan metropolitan area
