Mechanical Engineer - Design

- Reports to: Mechanical team leader
- Job purpose: Design of the antenna’s structure for space applications
- Location: MetaSensing, Via Aniene 2, 20151, Milan, Italy
- Employment condition: Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Candidate must be eligible to work in the EU.

Job Duties:

- Mechanical design of the payload structure on a CAD software (Siemens NX)
- Mechanical/Thermal system design and integration

Required skills and qualifications:

- Candidate must be eligible to work in the EU.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the field, ideally 5 years
- Strong knowledge in CAD design
- Knowledge in manufacturing of metallic parts standards and 2D drawings standards
- Knowledge of solid mechanics




- Understanding of the design process (from concept through to delivery and in-service
- support)
- Good knowledge of the English language for the working environment
- Good communication and team-working skills

Desired Skills / Qualifications

- Experience with Siemens NX (harness design is a plus)
- Knowledge about space thermo-mechanical design (composite materials is a plus)
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Ability to follow a fast-paced design scenario
- Ability to interact with manufacturers for the production phases
