Experteer Overview
As Product Manager for MV Switchgears, you own the lifecycle, market requirements, and profitability for 1.5 kV–40.5 kV products in EMEA. You will shape the portfolio by aligning customer needs with regional opportunities and the global strategy, while enabling sales and GTM execution. You’ll partner with sales, engineering, and operations to improve availability, lead times, and lifecycle support. This is an impact role at Vertiv, combining technical depth with market growth to strengthen market leadership in MV switchgear.

- Manage full MV Switchgears portfolio lifecycle including NPDI, extensions, updates, and phase-in/phase-out
- Capture and prioritize customer, channel, and market requirements via direct engagement with sales, consultants, contractors, distributors, and end users
- Define voice-of-customer, support business cases for new developments and enhancements
- Research market trends, demand drivers, specs, and competitor positioning in MV switchgear
- Develop regional go-to-market plans and support sales/marketing strategies to maximize portfolio revenue and profitability
- Manage portfolio profitability, pricing guidance, forecast assumptions, and corrective actions
- Support sales with technical positioning, product education, and competitive comparisons
- Prepare technical presentations, training, and sales enablement materials
- Collaborate with operations,
engineering, and supply chain to improve lead time, availability, quality, and lifecycle support
- Engage with consultants/contractors with Technical Sales to influence project specifications
- Attend trade shows and customer visits for market visibility and intelligence
- Provide updates to senior management on product performance, market developments, and opportunities
Responsabilità
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years in product management, technical marketing, application engineering, or strategic business development in power distribution or related electrical infrastructure markets
- Strong knowledge of MV switchgear technologies (1.5 kV–40.5 kV) and procurement procedures
- Ability to translate customer needs into roadmaps and commercial actions
- Strong commercial acumen for growth, profitability, pricing, and portfolio prioritization
- English proficiency at business level (C1)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication for technical/commercial presentations
- Proven cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder influence across sales, marketing, engineering, operations, and supply chain
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/planning tools
- Motivated, professional, self-driven, goal-oriented
- Willingness to travel within the region
