Data Scientist for Pricing & Underwriting In this role you contribute to data-driven decision making within Allianz's insurance operations. You will ingest, clean, and transform data from multiple sources, and explore analytics to uncover patterns and insights. You’ll build dashboards and pricing/underwriting models and prototype AI applications to support business decisions. You work with cross-functional teams to scale analytics solutions, driving measurable impact in a global, inclusive environment. This is an opportunity to shape data strategies and advanced analytics in a leading insurance group.
Support data ingestion, cleaning, and transformation from multiple sources
Perform data exploration and advanced analytics to identify patterns and insights
Build and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions to monitor performance




Develop pricing and underwriting models
Design and prototype AI applications
Conduct research and development to find novel technical solutions
4-7 years of experience in Insurance/Consulting or data analysis roles
Master's degree in Information Technology, Math, Physics, Statistics, or equivalent
Excellent knowledge of SQL and Python
Experience in developing statistical and machine learning models
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills
Team spirit, self-motivation, and proactive, results-driven mindset; able to interact in a global environment
