Experteer Overview

In this role you drive the design, installation and optimization of mechanical systems and related infrastructure within a manufacturing site. You’ll work with cross‑functional teams to deliver capital projects, ensure safety and quality, and support continuous improvement. You will coordinate with suppliers, participate in FAT/SAT, and help scale operations from design through handover. This is a hands‑on engineering role with a strong focus on practical problem‑solving and collaboration to achieve site performance goals. You will contribute to a safety‑conscious, process‑driven culture while advancing project management skills within a manufacturing environment.

- Support design, development, installation, commissioning, start‑up and maintenance of machinery and infrastructure
- Develop technical solutions with senior engineers ensuring safety, quality, production and ergonomics requirements
- Contribute to operational and continuous improvement initiatives across the site
- Assist in defining technical specifications in preliminary design meetings with stakeholders and partners
- Assist in budget preparation, cost estimation and expense tracking within approved limits
- Support CAAP preparation following best‑practice procedures
- Coordinate with suppliers and manage internal/external stakeholders during project execution
- Support FAT and SAT execution and document performance against requirements
- Coordinate with inspection bodies to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Support planning and coordination of training for factory users and maintenance teams




- Monitor ramp‑up of new installations and assist in troubleshooting to reach target performance
- Participate in optimization of existing equipment and continuous site improvement
- Develop relationships with suppliers, contractors and internal teams
- Collaborate with Factory, Purchasing, Marketing, Copacking, Packaging, R&D;, Finance, HR, HSE, Supply Chain and other functions

Responsabilità

- Higher education in engineering (mechanical, chemical, industrial or process)
- Some years of experience in engineering, project engineering, manufacturing, maintenance or industrial operations (preferred in FMCG, food, flavors, chemical or pharmaceutical)
- Interest in developing project management skills within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Basic technical knowledge of mechanical systems, piping, utilities and industrial equipment
- Knowledge of safety principles and willingness to develop expertise in industrial safety standards including ATEX where applicable
- Understanding of capital project phases: feasibility, design, procurement, installation, commissioning, start‑up and handover
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, P&IDs; or equipment documentation
- Good analytical and problem‑solving skills with a practical mindset
- Good communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills
- Proactive, able to manage multiple tasks with supervision
- Software: AutoCAD & Microsoft Office
- Language: Italian fluent, English fluent
