Experteer OverviewIn this role you lead technical oversight for a portfolio of 50 shopping centres, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient operation.
You drive maintenance planning, CapEx, and asset optimisation in collaboration with on?site teams and the Asset Management group.
You will manage a technically skilled team and coordinate with regulators, landlords, and facilities partners to safeguard asset value and performance.
This is a hands?on, cross?functional leadership position shaping technical standards and long?term investments.
ResponsibilitiesOversee day?to?day technical management across 50 centres ensuring consistent quality
Monitor building systems (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire protection, lifts, etc.)
Coordinate with on?site managers and facility service providers
Approve routine and preventive maintenance plans; ensure quality and timeliness
Prioritise maintenance by risk, safety and budget; implement standard procedures
Lead 24/7 on?call response for technical emergencies
Prepare and update 3? and 5?year CapEx plans for all centres
Assess obsolescence and prioritise interventions with technical and economic criteria
Collaborate with Asset Management and Landlords to validate CapEx plans
Monitor CapEx progress and report to stakeholders; assess energy efficiency opportunities (ESG)




Manage a team of 5 technical resources; set objectives and provide development support
Ensure regulatory compliance of building systems with relevant regulations; manage inspections
Produce periodic technical reports for Management and Landlords
Contribute to annual technical budget and monitor variances
Liaise with Centre Management, ESG, HSSE, Leasing and Client Finance teams
Support relationships with regulatory bodies and contractors
Engage in technical standardisation and reporting with EMEA Center of Excellence
QualificationsMaster's degree in Engineering (Civil, Architectural, Industrial, xysqume Mechanical or Electrical)
10 years of professional experience in facility/technical property management or related fields
Proven track record managing complex real estate portfolios and multi?year CapEx planning
Experience managing technical teams and coordinating suppliers/contractors
Fluent English (min B2) for stakeholder engagement
