Experteer Overview

In this role you will lead payroll service delivery across Europe, acting as the main liaison between Ramboll, payroll vendors, HR, Finance and ICT. You’ll own service performance, governance and continuity, driving continuous improvement and country onboarding. You’ll shape payroll governance and knowledge management within Ramboll’s European payroll landscape. This is a chance to influence global payroll excellence within a foundation‑owned company that values sustainability and long-term thinking.

Retribuzione / Benefits

- Manage operational governance with external payroll providers, including service scope and contractual commitments
- Oversee payroll performance via SLAs, KPIs, calendars, governance meetings, root-cause analyses and continuous service improvement
- Act as escalation and stakeholder contact for HR, Finance, ICT, vendors, and senior leaders across Europe
- Support payroll transformation, country onboarding, acquisitions, integrations, migrations, automation and service readiness
- Maintain governance, controls, audit readiness,



compliance risk, procedures, knowledge transfer, disaster recovery and service continuity

Responsabilità

- Experience in multi-country payroll operations or outsourced/vendor‑led models
- Experience managing third‑party payroll vendors, contracts, SLAs and governance forums
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with senior stakeholders
- Proven ability to lead service governance, incident management, project delivery and change initiatives
- Excellent English and German communication skills
- Desirable: experience with Workday, Papaya Global, ServiceNow; payroll qualifications (CIPP, IPASS) or knowledge of European payroll compliance
