Mechanical engineer for Nuclear business In this role you will design and develop nuclear mechanical components and assemblies, taking projects from concept through detailed design and manufacturing documentation. You will work closely with manufacturing, procurement, quality and project teams to ensure compliant, high-quality solutions. You will apply 3D/2D CAD, sizing, basic FEA, and GD&T; to deliver reliable components for challenging nuclear applications. This is a cross-functional, standards-driven position with a focus on safety, quality and customer requirements.

Develop 3D models and complex assemblies with parametric CAD (3D/2D)
Perform mechanical sizing and engineering calculations for components
Support structural verification through basic FEA
Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, quality, and project teams




Participate in technical reviews and contribute to design solution selection
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, procedures and customer requirements
Master or equivalent Degree in Mechanical/Nuclear Engineering or equivalent
Skilled in design of nuclear mechanical components and machine design principles
Knowledge of sizing/calculation of mechanical components and BIM integration
Knowledge of construction/manufacturing norms and standards (ASME III/VIII, EN13445, Eurocodes, EU Directives)
Proficiency with leading 3D CAD packages (Inventor, Siemens NX, CATIA)
Basic Finite Element Analysis (e.g., ANSYS)
Ability to create and manage 3D models, assemblies and drawings
