Experteer Overview

In this role you will shape validation for controller-based ICs and lead HiL-enabled testing within Infineon’s R&D; team. You’ll design validation concepts, craft test plans, and drive automated defect reporting to uphold quality. You collaborate across teams to validate embedded controllers and firmware, contributing to energy-efficient and secure technology. This position offers impact in a global leader powering decarbonization and digitalization.

Responsibilities

- Define validation concepts for controller-based ICs
- Develop comprehensive test plans based on requirements
- Lead the design of validation test benches
- Test and verify embedded controllers, including HiL testing and firmware validation
- Document defects and compliance metrics in an automated way to maintain quality standards

Qualifications

- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience with embedded systems, specifically ARM Cortex-M MCUs
- Strong foundations in embedded C/C++, MATLAB or Python
- Hardware debugging skills using oscilloscopes and multimeters
- Experience in automated test scripting with Python
