Junior Data ScientistSalary: €30,********,000.
Location: Sicilia.
This role focuses on supporting AI solution development for clients in the Anti Financial Crime domain.About the CompanyJS is an IT consulting firm specialised in Anti Financial Crime transformation.
We partner with clients to translate business needs into technical solutions, supporting projects such as installation, integration, and migration.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the development of AI solutions by contributing to data exploration, data preparation, and model development activities.Collaborate with senior team members to deliver tangible business value across financial services, insurance and public administration.Work in a collaborative, growth?oriented environment.Required QualificationsMaster's degree in a STEM discipline (or equivalent practical experience).




Foundational understanding of Machine Learning concepts and common AI models.Basic knowledge of data handling and relational databases.Good programming fundamentals in Python.Preferred QualificationsAcademic or internship experience in AI/ML projects.Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or similar.Interest in AI agent frameworks such as LangChain or similar.Technical SkillsBasic to intermediate programming skills in Python.Familiarity with data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit?learn.Exposure to deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras (a plus).
Basic knowledge of SQL.LanguagesEnglish – fluent written and spoken (mandatory).
Other European languages (optional).
