As a Senior Java Backend Developer you design and build scalable, high-quality services in an agile, cross-functional team. You collaborate with product owners and engineers to translate business needs into robust, secure applications, while shaping architecture decisions. You’ll drive best practices, testing strategies, and continuous improvement to deliver reliable software. This role offers impact through building resilient SaaS solutions and influencing technical direction within a supportive, growth-minded culture. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to turn visions into tangible outcomes.

- Collaborate in an agile cross-functional team with the product owner to outline products and strategies
- Design application architectures and establish technical solutions for the services
- Work with other software engineers in a collaborative environment
- Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security requirements
- Advocate for continuous improvement in development processes and technologies
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience with Java
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields,



or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of OOP, OOD, SOLID, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns
- Proven experience with Java frameworks, especially Spring
- Experience implementing and executing automated testing strategies
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
- Understanding of high availability concepts and SaaS/PaaS models
- Fluency in Italian; able to read and communicate in English
